Alain Godon meets budding artists
Last Wednesday, the third workshop in the museum over the holiday period was full of little artists. After having visited the artist Alain Godon’s exhibition, they had to create their own comic strip from the paintings they had just seen. An air of intense concentration prevailed in the museum: armed with scissors to cut out photocopies of canvases, glue sticks and felt pens, the children showed astonishing imagination; each one inventing a story told on a sheet of paper. Stories about dogs, holidays, honeymoons, the adventures of "Super Lemon" ...Alain Godon arrived in person at the end of workshop to spur them on. After record crowds attended the exhibition’s opening, its success is undeniable: in just one fortnight there have been 2,900 visitors. A record for the museum!
